Recs: 9 << I suspect he's from from Lindon, Utah (or close thereabouts).>> Sorry, freecode, but biff posts from Belgium. He left a trail in my blog log that pointed to an ISP in Vilvoorde called scarlet.be, although in my case it was a dial-up account, while in other instances like the Merkeylaw logs, it has been a high speed account. How do I know it was biff in my log? The referrer was a search from *Dutch* Google looking for "SCO + backinfullforce", while, as mentioned, the ISP was Belgian. ------------------------------------------------------------ The text of this Yahoo Message Board post has been licensed for copying and distribution by the Yahoo Message Board user "timransom@rogers.com" under the following license: License:  CC Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike v2.0 ------------------------

Backinfullforce leaves a trail...

Message ID: 348158 Posted By: freecode_99 Posted On: 2006-02-22 00:03:00 Subject: Backinfullforce leaves a trail... Recs: 6 Backinfullforce reads SCOFacts, so he's leaving trails out there. The mention of SCOFacts' site with reference (a link) makes it seem obvious he reads scofacts.org. I suspect he's from from Lindon, Utah (or close thereabouts). On 2/21/06 between 6:43 PM EST and 7:06 EST would seem about right for a BIFF visit given his response and posting of a SCOFacts link in that timeframe. I'm sure he would have left his tracks in the server logs. If he does come from that part of the world, it might be a violation of the rules regarding public company behavior for an exec to be posting here, but it wouldn't surprise me. No response necessary, just knowing that he reads SCOFacts means he's in server logs somewhere and getting sloppy. Have a nice night. freecode ------------------------------------------------------------ The t

Flea circus physics

So he was part of the Grokwars, on the "con" side. Would Darl have approved? Probably. Does that make Al pro SCO? Nope. These things are mutually exclusive. For the slow, this means that being "anti-Groklaw" does *not* somehow make someone "pro SCO". Yes, Darl hates Groklaw, and likely found the Grokwars delightful, yet there are a lot of people around here who were on the "con" side of the Grokwars. Are they *all* SCO double agents? I personally mocked and derided Al during those dark days, yet it never occured to me that he was working for Darl (although I might have joked as much).

Alright! Midget Wrestling!

It's the Midgets VS the Professors! First, the Midgets: The Tiny Troll Trio, featuring: Daniel Wallace, a "retired physicist" (he's got a BS!) whose career is distinguished by it's non-existence! Alex Terekhov, middling code monkey for IBM Germany and bitter loser of a "licensing war", which took the fruit of his lobes and put it under that commie GPL! Backinfullforce, apparently unemployed Belgian raconteur, whose grip on English is as loose as his grip on reality! He *never* takes off the mask! And, Introducing their opponents, The Professors: Eben Moglen, professor of law and history of law at Columbia University, pro bono General Counsel for the Free Software Foundation, Chairman of Software Freedom Law Center.
