This whole fiasco is about how far Sony will to protect its copyrights. Let's not forget that the software they used violates the copyrights of others. That, plus the company's unacceptable responses, show that Sony has no moral high ground to stand on.

I expect the musicians to sue Sony for lost sales.

This whole fiasco will not put Sony out of business, but it will cost the company millions of dollars. Who knows? Maybe Sony and the other record companies will actually learn something from all this.
